my garden peas are 5" tall and have been planted out,
the broad beans are 3" and looking good
the onions are in the ground as are my tats
beets, spinach and basil are planted

    Nothing like it...

    I have potatoes through...
    Lettuce (butterhead) seeds just through..
Red Onion sets growing away happily...
Tomato seedlings ready for splitting and potting up...
Carrot Healthmaster seeds are also in..
    Cucumber seedlings doing nicely..
    Pepper seeds just through too...

Over the next week I'm putting in Pumpkin & Sweetcorn seeds, followed by Runner Beans and Green Beans; also have some Pak Choi and Lettuce Lolla Rossa to go in when it gets a bit warmer.

Oh and I also keep checking everything, my wife thinks I'm nuts.....she loves the end products though lol

Don't sound daft to me, & i've been growing veg since I was 7 :D

Still get excited about things coming up & still checking things at every moment, a twig for support here, a bit of earthing up there, etc.

Imagine my horror this morning as I picked up a wet sock that was frozen as stiff as a board & then found the protection had blown off the spuds in the night.

The plants had closed their leaves into a rosebud shape but had completly withstood the frost. They opened up in the sun & are doing fine.:yess:
