My mum is trying to transform her garden. However, there is one section where there is a lot of weeds which my mum thinks is Butterwort (sp) and she has tried pulling it up, digging it up etc many times and says it always grows back and the roots are extremely long and hard to pull up.

Does anyone have any advice on how to eradicate for good these weeds without too much physical efford (mum is 71) or anything she can use to kill them off for good?

    Many thanks.

The only way to kill these weeds is to use a glyphosate weedkiller. This will kill off the roots as well.:gnthb:

They are dead but you still need to clear the debris, perhaps you could give her a lift with that.
