I have loads of baby Gherkins on my plants, how big do they need to be before I need to pick them and pickle them, some are 2 inches.

    Thanks

    Hi All

Simmered for 10 mins in salted water (when I remembered to put the salt in) cooled put in jars covered in Pickle Vinegar eat after 2 weeks blooming marvelous. I can't believe how easy it was to grow pickle and enjoy Gherkins and they are ready to harvest very early so you could try to get these in stop early then plant cucumbers for a later crop.

    Thanks for the advice Pam
