gif to jpg

could you just tell me please how do I change a picture from the gif format to jpg? Thank you

 

Your photo software should allow you to do this, as part of the "save as" function. Click save as, and then in the file format box, select gif.

I'd give the picture a slight different name to prevent any puter and other confusion.

 

Not quite Fran. In the 'file format' box choose .jpg or .jpeg, not .gif. It will then leave your original .gif file untouched but save a new file with the .jpg extension.
