    Back in Italy we used to have a tree in our garden called Giuggiolo , that actually look like a pomegrate tree , but was producing dates like fruit called giuggioli ...
    it is cultivated in north Italy where temperature are really cold , so it should grow over here as well.
    Das anyone know what`s the name in English and if actually anyone has ever seen one in UK?

    They are on Ebay - but only in tablet form as medication

      wow thanks, you are right ........as I remember they where called cinese date as well , as much as they can handle frost really easy ....but I suppose that is one them fruit that no one wanted and it will be impossible to find it.
