I don't have many days like today....I was given the pick from a couple of dozen tubs and these were all I could get in my van.. [IMG] I really must tidy it out!

Lucky you, Pal ... I love them all, in particular the little olive pot and trough with calcium (?) deposits on them. [IMG]

Couldn't you fit a couple more on the passenger seat or floor ??????? or is that where these were situated? :D

To be honest with you, most of them were moulded concete urns, not my thing. Some still had price stickers on and the biggest cost £125..!
Another bloke took a few and reckoned he could 'mellow' them with a cow muck wash,I'm not so sure because they were too smooth.

I've never driven with anything round my gear stick. Not since I was a student anyway. [IMG] :D

You lucky s*d Pal, I had a terracotta pot twice the size of that one at the back with a large Chamy Humilis, it is now in 5 pieces thanks to the gales on monday. :(

He told me his method today...He gets them shot blasted to roughen them up then buries them in his muck heap(he has a small holding and cattle)
The concrete 'sucks' in the juices for a couple of weeks then he leaves them in his greenhouses to age. It appears he has quite a business on the side for G-Centres.... ;)

See the Hydrangea on the left. Well, it needs tidying up don't you think? Never had the plant before and unsure how hard to cut it back. There is a tangle of dead wood but some have shoots along and at the tip of the branch. There are also a good amount of new growth at the base.
I will be keeping it in the warm afterwards.
