Been quite a few years since I was there, parked up on what was called the 'Creech Ground - next to the 'Greenfield?' then (and I'm sure anybody who used that area will have many happy memoriesl) I seem to recall, but now (looking at a current site map) an area overtaken by expensive tipi hire.

That was in the 'good old days' when you'd arrive a few days before the official start date, park up just inside the entrance, send a passenger to borrow a vehicle pass from some one you knew trading on the site, drive in (as they couldn't make out who it was intended for if placed at the top of your truck windscreen), return the pass for the next person to use and start partying.

Can't do that either Kyle, radios come under BBC licencing too, so with no tv, I haven't got a licence.

However, if it's on the internet, in a non-live capacity, it's legal to watch.

Oh those were the days eh, what good fun! I remember cutting up the North sea on a map cos the wristband was blue that year, and it worked all weekend. We hardly had any map left as we supplied loads of others skint music lovers too :heehee:

My claim to fame is I know 2 people performing there this year, my sis in law is reciting her poetry, she's truly amazing and a friends there with his group too! All that n still no comp tickets..whats the world comin to?

        Beyonce is on soon.

I want her heels high and her hair even higher.

Apparently Jay z is on site too- he may come on for Crazy in love.

Ive seen highlights of Ceelo Green and Primal Scream - both of which I LOVED.

        Any other recommendations?
