:scratch:My friend has just called me to ask my help & as I don't have an answer I thought perhaps some of you might..!:D

:flag:He has nurtured this plant & has watched the fruit grow to nearly picking size, but went out this morning & found the centre of it had been eaten away..!!!

:ntwrth: Has anybody any ideas what could have done it..?
I have asked him to send me some pics, so as soon as I get then will post them up...
 Would slugs or snails do this overnight..? Not grown them myself so have no ideas...

:help: Well my friend has finally sent me a pic of the Artichoke........ He says he has looked really carefully & can not see any little tell tale silver trails.......... :help: So any ideas anyone..??? As you can see it has eaten right down into the heart & had a good feast..... Oh & it happened overnight.!
I have my theory, but I would like your opinions to see if I am right....

HI Marley. To me it looks like bird damage but since you say it happened overnight, hmm
