Bradley Wiggins is hoping to become the first ever British winner of the Tour de France today. Not usually into cycling but I must admit, as a lover of sport, that I am getting v excited about this Come on Bradley, you can do it
Good luck to him. As a test of physical endurance I can't think of any other sport that comes close to this, they are all super-human to get on their bikes and cycle 200 miles or more each day for 3 weeks. Even worse they go up and down a few 'hills' on the way. I've been following his progress on the BBC sport site each morning recently, they say it's almost in the bag for him
As said somewhere else on here, I'm not into sport and certainly not cycling, but the Tour De France is the one event that I look forward to ever year and never miss it. I have mixed feelings about Bradley, and whilst I obviously want him to win, I kinda think that Chris Froome has lost out big time, and is actually the stronger rider. I just hope that Chris gets his chance next year. My favorite rider though, is Manxman Mark Cavendish. I never fail to be stunned by his power. If you have an hour to spare, this is worth watching. All of the riders are superb, and all worthy winners. .
Stunning! I watched it live and enjoyed ever minute. As a rule, I never watch sport until the finals and I've never ever watched the tdf before! But it was really stunning.
