5 years and nothing over here as well , I think it is one of them plants that will only flower in hot spring and summer, doesn`t look good or exotic .....on my list of plants to give away :WINK1:

That's a shame. I've got some seeds germinating in the greenhouse. Wonder whether to persevere?:dunno:

Chris , got mine out some dry seeds , was so proud of me and few years late the plants was for sale even at poundland :WINK1:........
According to an American forum , somepeople had them plant start to a berry after 5 years , we are talking about places where they have a proper summer .
overall the plant is frost hardy to -15 , i think I will give mine last chance and move the plant to a sunny position and see what uppen.

Ours is about 5 years old too and we had six berries off it three years ago and nowt since. I reckon the best thing to do with gogi bushes is to plant them as part of a hedge and regard any fruit you get as a surprise bonus!

Sorry, mine's in a sunny position, and still nowt. Boring-looking, scraggy thing it is, too.

Bought and planted some last year, ripped 'em out this spring after reading many comments like those above this post...on many forums. If it's not going to pull it's weight then I'll plant something that will...superfruit or no!

Steve no panic yet , there are too many peoples that didn`t get any berry yet , and really it seams to be just odd , 6 berry in five years dasn`t seam a lot.....maybe that`s explain the cost , we don`t know a lot about this plant, long time ago when peoples started to grow Kiwi was the same story untill they realise that you need a male and female , or is just a question of time...but at the same time many plant that fruiting in coldest aereas then UK are failing over here because of the lack of summer.

yeah..no panic...and no fruit either if what I have read over the months is true. I would rather make better use of the space and crop from that. I'll reconsider when I hear of people perhaps making preserves from their goji harvests.
