Golden raspberries !

Went to the garden centre this morning and came away with something I hadn't even gone in for (as you do !!)
I really love raspberries and saw a golden variety and couldn't resist it - will get it planted soon and hope it fruits as well as my regular red one ...

Its interesting. We find that visitors avoid them. They taste them, say "Gosh, they taste just like real Raspberries" and then make a Bee-line for the red ones.

This is, of course, not really relevant ... but if I was choosing varieties again I would have all-red to avoid this issue. Same issue applies to Yellow Tomatoes and the like.

(I suppose, in fairness, it mostly applies to visiting kids, rather than visiting adults)
