Yep, I brought all my seedlings in from the blowaway greenhouse just as a precaution. It felt quite dramatic, like an evacuation:)

Snow at easter is not unusual. Especially at the foot of the penines, such as in Sheffield:) I lived for 10 years in the Don valley and it could be like the med, or siberia, depending on which way the wind blew.

The one and only time in my life I've become poorly with actual genuine hypothermia, was in fact as late as May. I'd gone out clubbing dressed for summer, and when I came out at the end of the night it was hailstoning and gale force wind carrying sea fret (this wasn't in Sheffield obviously).

Got pelted with hailstones once in midsummer while riding my bike around Ladybower reservoir. Had to hide under a tree until it passed and it was red hot again.

We had 2C overnight. Is currently 7C, but the Sun is out and looks like a nice day to follow. Hopefully nice and warm again this afternoon.

It dropped to 3c last night, no frost. Now it's 11c and sunny with a cool breeze.
