I finished work a bit early yesterday(weird nutters day @ my hairdressers) so got out b4 i went mad and popped into the library.
i got that book by our allan tichmarch HOW TO BE A GARDENER book 1 and 2 and its really good, some gardening books go over my head but this one was so basic and simple and you really get the feel of how much allan t loves his garden!
trying to brush up on my knowledge a bit, and cant afford to do a horticulture course @ college, so our allan will have to do!!!
my sunflowers are peeking out thier pots now and my giant cosmos are too!

He really is down to earth isn't he? I ussually refer to him as uncle Alan when passing on his advice, "Uncle Alan says......"
He's also quite a good novelist. I can almost here him talking out loud when I'm reading one of his books.
