Is it worth installing, is it better than standard Google?

Yep, i've been using it for years :) Saves a lot of time filling in forms, as it remembers your details.

      Definitely worth it.
I delete Internet Explorer on every new machine and install Chrome. I also install Mozilla Firefox as a back up browser. Chrome shades it for me over Firefox as I find it more user friendly.

I've gone over to chrome now, was using firefox, but the last version of that I installed was plagued with ads and hidden links in certain words, it was a total nightmare.

I find chrome faster to load.

Has anyone had problems with Google Chrome freezing,I find since I went on to chrome my laptop freezes for a few seconds on a regular basis until it gets warmed up,this can go on for 15 to 20 mins.I belong a Model rail forum and all the chaps on there have had the same problem.

I've been using Chrome for a while now and think it's fine. I can't compare other Browsers as I've never used them. I never had any problem of Chrome freezing either, Fileyboy, it might be a problem with your computer??

I had it freeze on me once up to now and that was the other evening, got a message, "this programme is not responding".
I used to get that all the time with Firefox.

Sometimes these things seem to get cocked up, (technical term).
I tend to uninstall, then install it again, it often sorts out the problem.
