    Hi,

When searching the forum for garden planner software I saw some recommendations for Google Sketch Up. Well here is another recommendation  from a complete novice. Just what I need, grab your site (& my wee bit of land is truly a sight, for sore eyes) and start placing your objects around. If nothing else it gives a clearer idea of what will fit and where. I found the program to be a little daunting at first but once you start moving things around it is quite easy to pick up the basics for layout. I have still to figure out quite a few things, like plants etc, and am sure garden plans can be made much better than my current effort, but it is an on-going project and well worth the free price tag and can produce a nice wee animated sequence to impress yourself with. I downloaded the program last night and have gotten thus far with it:

Think I need to work on me animated paths a little, going through the wall was a wee-bitty disconcerting  but is a very handy wee program, at the right price. :D
