Got Me Some Free Trees

...our local council was giving away free trees yesterday as many councils do I believe as part of a nationewide scheme to get more trees planted in our communties :thumb:; when I was in Cheshire you could have a maximum of 3 trees, here in Derbyshire you can have 5 - how kind :D

I got a silver birch, wild cherry, rowan, spindle and a field maple; all nice sized seedlings (18-24"), they will planted down the bottom corner of back garden to hopefully give us a bit more privacy from the neighbouring public footpath (even though we have a 6ft fence) once they have grown.

 

You lucky devil Bilbo,they sound great all my favorites.
Annoyingly it would be no good where i live because all my neighbours are wanting the trees round here chopped down and are constantly wittering on to the council ...think i'm a bit of an outcast round here regarding trees....:D think i'l get myself a rowan....
