I have just managed to obtain a new allotment, twice the size of my old one (on same site) and just a little overgrown. Greenhouse in reasonable condition and 2 huts on site which I will donate to any of the existing plot holders who may need one. Looking forward to getting it in shape, if only the blooming rain would stop here. Some pictures attached. I may keep the greenhouse and give my old one away to someone.

Well done doddery, that looks to have great potential. The greenhouse looks in good condition.

Thanks folks, JWK the greenhouse is ok just a couple of cracked panes and a couple the wrong size but no problem as we have a variety of extra glass at the allotment site which is free to take. Linz the fruit trees are plum, pear and one apple tree. They need a bit of care but should not be a problem. There are some raspberry cane at the side of the greenhouse but these have been neglected so I may dig them out and replace with new ones at the end of the year.

Looks to be a cracking spot @"doddery"
You're lucky to have inherited the extra bits and bobs. I suppose having stayed on the same site, and putting your own huts for use, it's only fair you gain something in return.
All the very best with it, I hope to see it blooming next year. Good luck buddy!

Thanks Tinker, starting to get it in shape now but still a bit to go, need to keep the old one up to scratch especially at this time of year.

Latest update, paths between beds now laid, paving outside hut completed just to finish the bit in front of the shed/potting enclosure to be completed then the pallets collars will be in front of these. Pallet collars will be two in height (bluberry bushes) and two, three collars in height (carrots and parsnips). Large area next to fruit trees will be the strawberry beds once dug, covered in horse manure and rotavated. Three new fruit trees to go in as well as summer fruiting rasps at the side of greenhouse. Two large beds behind greenhouse for autumn rasps. Getting there slowly.

New paths in , 4 new fruit trees, boxes for Blueberries some already in and 2 larger boxes for parsnips/carrots. Oh, and copious amounts of horse dung in most beds.
