Hi All, I have been bargain hunting this Autumn, mainly at B&Q, Focus etc as they sell off some of their Summer Perennials etc really cheap. I got this lot, none of them any more than £2 a go:

    Gentian Sino-Ornata & Scabria Blue
    Helenium- Hoopesii
    Coryopsis 'early sunrise'
    Sedum 'Autumn Joy'
    Veronicaspicata
    Forget-me-not
    Bellis
    Mysotis 'Victoria Pink'
    Dianthus
    Echinacea 'Kim Knee High'

But what I would like to know is should i plant these in my borders now or leave them in their pots & wait until spring?

I personally would give them some tlc over winter now as it is too late for them to get established before the frosts (which have already started here)touch them.
    Plant in spring. [IMG]

I think you should just find a sheltered spot and let them rest over the winter, most wont be growing through the winter.
Perhaps you could plant out the bellis and the forget-me-not.

You can plant bellis and myosotis now, I have 4,000 and 6,000 of each ready at work and will be planted in the next two weeks or so in the parks, they will not grow any more till march but it's better than empty pots/flower beds.
Like Pete says, leave the others in their pots untill early spring and then plant out as they are all fairly hardy. [IMG]

Ok thanks guys, I was just worried about them freezing in their pots. I think i'll move them so they are up against the house.

You could always rig up a temporary cold frame over them to protect them from the worst of the weather.
