It would take a lot of digging to level that out for an allotment :D

    My most favorite of places.
We took the 46 minute helicoptor ride across the Canyon.
    Truly amazing.
Do not miss out on a visit if you are in the area.
Her indoors has just reminded me that because she was the lightest of our group she sat up front with the pilot!
I am envious to this very day...
I still view the video often.

Fantastic views, Strongy! :thumb: :thumb: That is a place that I would love to see again.

Did you get to see the Skywalk too? - perhaps even go on it? :D That is one place I would NOT like to go, the mere thought frightens me.

I wouldn't have noticed the eagle if you hadn't of pointed it out, Walnut.

Capney, didn't do the canyon flight as I did the Monument valley flight instead (pics to follow).
Kedi we were at a different part of the canyon and personally I didn't like the 'theme park' look of the Skywalk as it spoiled the natural beauty of the place.
We got up at 5.00am to watch the sunrise which although impressive didn't turn the sky red and most of the canyon was naturally in shadow so the pics were not that good.

    Some good pictures strongy.
I agree with you, why they allowed that skywalk thing to be built is beyond me, I suppose it makes money though.
I take it this is the South Rim.

So where exactly is the skywalk?
