Help. Does anyone know how to get rid of grape hyacinths and cornflowers permanently?? I'm tired of pulling them up over and over again, they just keep on spreading. I know they can look nice but they're now taking over everything.

    Hello peacelily, welcome.

I can't offer any advice on what you're asking just wanted to say, that i am trying to grow cornflowers from seed i collected last year! I only use containers though, so don't have your problem. As for grape hyacinths, there is a topic on 'what do you most love to hate' where this has been put forward, but had quite a few people in it's defence.

I for one would like some again only in containers.

hope you get the help you need.

    cheers

Hello peacelily [IMG] I tend to let them go where ever they want. To clear an area I just dig them out but give the bulbs to friends who are always asking for some.

    Hello Peacelily.

"DON'T" say you hate Grape hyacinths on here; you are likely to be "hung drawn and quartered" by some posters!
