Does anyone have experience of growing a grape vine in a polytunnel?
Is there a danger of it puncturing the tunnel?
    Mine is 20ftx10ft.
    I would appreciate any advice.

Not grown one in a poly tunnel, but I cant see why it should puncture anything.

You need to keep the growth away from the poly anyway, on some kind of wires or frame.

Foliage touching the plastic, will scorch, and you will have rot problems late in the season due to condensation, if it does.

Thanks Pete; I do intend to grow it on a frame, but I just wondered about such a large amount of foliage being a problem. Thankls anyway.

At my allotment, someone who has a grapevine in a tunnel offered the advice to plant it outside, but train it into the tunnel, that way you'll get the benefit of rainwater when it rains.
