New House, old greenhouse and its been a few years since it had anyone gardening. The neighbour said that there used to be a fruit bearing grape vine in there.

I dug down and found it, cut the end and it is still alive. I have cleared a pit around it, watered heavily at first and i am now keeping it damp.

Have i done the right thing?

I did put some food in the first watering, is there anything else i can do.

Other sites said it could be 3-5 years until fruit if it does revive but i just want to do what i can for it.

    Any advice appreciated.
