Grape vines?

    I have just bought two grape vines but the tops have been covered in wax. Is it OK to leave the wax on and just let them grow or should I remove the wax and if so how do I do that without damaging the wood?

    Leave the wax on Stuart, its probably grafting wax, or did I dream that?

    Miraflores, two different ones, one white Pinot Blanc one red Cabernet Sauvignon

      I think it will be a few years before there is enough to bottle but plan to make some wine at some point. . but quality single malts are my favourite tipple :)
