Grapes

    Hi glad i found this forum.
    I have done a search but i am still none the wiser so thought i would ask.
    Today i bought two grape vines i have searched the internet and read up on how to look after them but i am still none the wiser, so can anyone tell me in simple terms what i am suppose to do with them.
    Here are the plants in there pots.

    One is red and the other is gold, does anyone know how old they may be.
    Also i really what them for decoration than to eat.

    They look like cuttings with one years growth to me.

    Not sure what you mean by what you are supposed to do with them.

    If they are just for decoration, then you just let them grow.

    Hello Grapevine and welcome to the forum.

    Not quite sure about your question but -
    Those are young plants, about a year old maybe.
    What you do with them is down to where you want to grow them - outside, conservatory, greenhouse, what ?
    Come back and tell us more and I'm sure we can help you.

    I am hoping to grow them outside, at the moment they are under the gazeboo, but i am intending to build a pergola like structure hoping they will hang down from it. Like you see in Spain etc lol. Where they are is where they will be staying next to the fence. I would love to have friut on the vine in summer but not to fussy about eating them.

    Just let them grow then Mark.

    You might need to pot on again next year into bigger pots and watering and feeding will be something that will need to be fairly constant through the summer months.
