I have a lot of this in my garden. I am tempted to pull most of it up, but am quite keen to know what it is first.

It is clump forming, perennial, quite hardy and thrives with full sun and very little attention. It also seems to want to take over the garden.

    I'm guessing maybe a miscanthus?
