Grass veriety that wont grow too tall?

    I need a grass variety that wont grow too tall as I want wild flowers in there as well , any ideas?

    Are you essentially making your own meadow seed mix?

    A lot of wild flower mixes will contain grasses too. Usually bents and Fescues.

    If you're mixing yourself though have a look for grass seed mixes containing high percentages of Fescues. 100% fescue may be too much as it will boss the area too much and stop the wild flowers growing. A good mix would be say a maximum of 60ish% creeping red fescue.
