I have inherited some large Miscanthus silberspine grasses. When is the correct time to cut them down and do they need to be cut down to ground level?

Hi RYDALL, you can cut them down now before the new growth pokes through. I usually cut to about 2 inches of ground level so that I don't cut through the new shoots and end up with flat tips to the leaves. [IMG]
