    Hi all is Great Dixter worth a visit ... has any body here from gardeners Corner been there.. its a fair journey from us here in sunny Essex.. thanks for any help or info ... Micky :spinning:

    I've never been but it's near the top of my list of must see gardens. If you have read any of Christopher Lloyd's book then I reckon you'll love it.

      I've been (some pictures on my blog)and thoroughly enjoyed it

      Worth visiting Sissinghurst too as nearby and can do both in one day.

        I've not been for about 8 years but I'd love to go again. I really like Christo's down to earth and iconoclastic approach, he didn't just churn out the same old guff, he talked about what he'd discovered and experienced and he always tried new things.

        He was still alive when I was there, they had him parked in the potting shed. Quite a scary character!
