I really despair of finding nice pots-the green and 'terracotta' plastic and glazed ceramic ones most places sell just don't do it for me (no offense meant if they're your thing!)
Then at Wessington garden centre in Derbyshire, they had pots from this company http://www.elho.com/intro/frameset.php Great colours, nice shapes and made of plastic, so not too expensive!
They had them reduced though, which kind of implies they were struggling to shift them, which is a shame as they're lovely and so different from what's normally available.

They look so good daisybelle. Can't see what the prices are though, have you any idea? Not the reduced price although that would be good if available:).

What a shame if they are struggling. Like you say, I have the green & brown plastic pots mostly, but then I am a bit tight when it comes to spending:)

    cheers

Yes they look great but. With a website like that, no wonder they are struggling...there is little or no information.

Providing that's the correct link..hate sites using Flash and giving no details.

I have to agree with you Tweaky. I would have thought that gardeners were fairly sober and practical people, and wouldn't appreciate that sort of site.

I bought an 8.5" square pot and a 10" round one and they were £3 and £5 as I recall. They'd had a couple of £ knocked off.
I was looking for suppliers more local to me and Dobbies came up. It's still quite a trek, but I've never been before, so when I have a bit of spare cash, I'm off to investigate.
Most of the suppliers just stock their 'terracotta' range of pots with trays.
Do the pots appeal, would it just be the cost that would put you off, or do people actually not like the colours/shapes etc?
Tweaky, I agree the website is a bit 'flash' and the music is annoying, but people looking at the pots in the garden centre wouldn't know that, hence my Q just above.
