    Hi there :)

Visited relatives in Spain last week and saw it as a good opportunity to try out the new camera and lens.

Pictures 1 and 2 are an adult Great Spotted Cuckoo and a juvenile Cuckoo, in flight. Both taken at full zoom and full crop, hence the quality.

Pics 3 and 4 are of a Bonnelis Warbler, must get hold of Photo Shop and try editing out the twigs.

    Pic 5 needs no intro.

Great pics of the Cuckoo, Pip, as are all your bird pics .
    Thank you for them.
Many years ago when I was living on the Isle of Mull a cuckoo took up perch on the telephone wires above my cottage. It cuckooed very loudly from dawn til dusk. I just wanted to kill that bird - nothing else deterred it .
Like everyone else I love the sound of the cuckoo in the distance - but when it's right above your head 16 hours a day :gaagh:
