Sorry I didn't have a clue where to post this, so if it needs to be moved, not a problem
I have read review after review on various garden wood fencing algae cleaner, but there are so many, and they are all the best.
Has anyone used any, apart from the white vinegar mix?
I also have some on my garden shed (yes, my fault, I didn't do anything to it when I bought it)
It's a pain, because we live right next to a large oak tree.
So, has anyone had good results with anything?
    Many thanks for any replies.

I use Patio Magic on my fencing and painted wooden garden furniture as well as on my sandstone paving. Follow the instructions and you should see improvements quickly. I've found that it works almost overnight on wooden surfaces and within 2-3 days on sandstone. It's best to apply it on a dull day when no rain is forecast for the next 6 hours.

Wet and Forget can be used on fences although I've only used it for paving and roof tiles. It works well.

Hmm, I find with power washing the force needed to take away the algae also removes the wood coating so you are back down to bare wood and the need to apply a protective coating. is there anything you can just brush on to the algae effected area ?

Yes, anti-algal treatments like Patio Magic, Wet and Forget or Algon are all readily available.
