    No treatment

Too much sun or too little potash, try shading the greenhouse, I assume you've been feeding them? :) Might stop it happening to more of them.

Yes fed and watered:blue thumb: gave them a dose of potash a couple of weeks back too.they've been pretty well shaded but this has been my worst year for toms.Still got a crop but very disappointing:frown:
Time to start clearing a few out, every other year I've been still picking tomatoes up to the end of October..

That's odd then, must just be the heat in the greenhouse :dunno:

Loli.....for the first time this year I have green back Gardeners Delight I think it could be the heat that's caused it (that's a first here) :heehee: but I've left them on the plants to fully ripen and most of it has grown out. Still edible too. :)

Zigs......Green back MM's are normal I think, mine all grew like that last year and it disappeared as they ripened.

          That's interesting Sheal,I 'll give them a chance then:dbgrtmb:...

I know I keep saying it but this year is the first I can recollect that has such fluctuating temperatures from day to night ,more often than not a 20 degrees difference, that's not normal:scratch:

It has been a very peculiar growing season for me too, I think it pays to grow a few different varieties then if one or two fail the others make up for it. I think that's what has happened to me this year.

There has been no temperature fluctuation here this year, no more than five degrees between night and day during the warmer weather. I think the island has faired better weather-wise this year than the rest of Britain. It's certainly been the best spring and summer for at least ten years although last year wasn't bad. :)

Been all over the shop here, one day sun, next day rain, you ask me if I really care, don't you know the answer? Rainy day blues never felt this way.
