Please can someone advise me as to what I am doing wrong..I have never grown beans before, but I do know something is wrong...lots of leaves around the base..and then it twines itself around the sticks..but huge gaps between the leaves, the odd leaf here and there, although they look healthy..they are in growbags....well watered.does anyone know what the problem might be...neighbour nextdoor has an abundance of leaves..mine look silly...Helpppp

Are your neighbours in growbags or in the ground? I assume we are talking here of runner beans? If so I would say that there is:- 1) not enough depth of soil and 2) not enough feed. If you cannot plant them in the ground or something deeper (a 20 litre pot say) then at least feed them everytime you water them, don`t give them full strength feed give them half. David.

If you can get them in the ground all well and good but if not just feed and water them regularly. David.
