You can but they will not be crisp as when fresh, they are excellent for cooking though. I use a lot of chillis and pepers from the freezer (I cover pizzas with them).

A good name as we are all 'still learning'. [IMG]

OOOh strongy. How do you freeze your chillis?I have lots again but have given most away in the past as i don`t know how to freeze them.
I would love to make my own chilli sauce in small doses whenever i feel like it instead of only being able to for a short while.

I don't know if there is a particular way of freezing them Elaine but I just slice them (with seeds for that extra lip burning feel! :D ) put them in a bag or container and in they go, nothing else. [IMG]

Elaine, I grew some Habanera Orange and Scotch Bonnet, I put a few thin slices on a home made pizza but could only manage two!! (slices not pizza) They are at the limit of what I can tolerate. Cayennes are hot but these --- lip burn, throat on fire, sweat, eyes watering, nose running and they are not the hottest. :D
    This came in handy. [IMG]
I think I have veered off Stillearning's thread.
