    Hi,

I have a very small water feature (it's a planter with water in it, it's that small).

I've got some water lillies, 2 grasses and something that doesn't spring to mind in there, plus a nice layer of green frothy scum on the top.

Anything to worry about? Anything I need to do?

It's been in place for about 4 weeks now. And there's no intention to put fish or anything in it as they'd get bored swimming around in something that size.

    TIA

    Emma

Green frothy scum seems to be the in thing this year in ponds must be a new trend. ;)
My pond had it up until a few days ago, its gone now though.
Its nothing to worry about but it does look unsightly. Small containers are I think a bit prone to this sort of thing as you cannot get a good balance due to the size. Cant think of a method of getting rid of it in such a small container without resorting to chemicals.

    Thanks Pete, that's good news.

I'm not so worried about how it looks, just if it would affect the plants, so it can stay where it is for now (unless it gets smelly as it's right next to my patio and might put us off our tea ;) )
