This small, light green small plant keeps growing back even after I cut it back, difficult to dig as it right next to (and may actually be part of) a tree/bush. Does anyone know what this could be, as I'd like to find out if it is a weed or just new growth of the tree/bush. Many thanks in advance :) 100_3014.JPG

hmm difficult to know.. at first I suspected it to be Impatiens gradulifera but usually that had darker leaves and a red vein through the middlt of the leaf. The fallen leaves around it might hold a clue.. whats the shrub/tree growing above it

reckon it is woody nightshade, Solanum dulcamara. Crush the leaf you will probably find it has a distinctive smell. its also poisonous.

        Agree with Scillonian, Woody Nightshade.

Woody Nightshade was my first guess too. I think under Solanum would be the first place to look.
