    Evenin all,

All of my seedlings are coming up well. I noticed this afternoon though that the Sunflowers are FULL of Greenfly! What can I do, if anything about this please?

    Thanks

    Hi Springy...nice to meet you:thumb:

I had them a couple of weeks ago in my G-house and used a small paint brush to sweep them off into a cup of water. I t worked ok...withno damage to my seedlings either.

I would take them out of the greenhouse as soon as possible.

Then spray them or brush the little blighters off.

    Watch out for any more....

If you're into chemical answers get an anti aphid spray. If you're organic then introduce lady birds to the g. house. If you have a very small sense of humour then bonsai the lot.

    Morning Chaps,
OK then - have moved them out of the greenhouse,
have sprayed them with washinhg-up liquid in water.
They **seem** to have died - not the seedlings, the greenfly. Should i spray them do you think daily? every few days? when i see greenflied again?

You could also try some of the sticky yellow fly catchers. I use them in my greenhouse and polytunnel - doesn't eliminate them completely but does help reduce their numbers.
