    Hi,

Thought it worth sharing a couple of little things we found very helpful this time of year.

We had just started off some Sweet Peas in the usual little root pots, but once watered it can be difficult to keep them all upright so we made a little cup holder type of thing to hold them together.
We used some of the Vitax pots left over from last year, but now found B&Q have flat packs of them for just under £3, they are the same height but slighty smaller diameter of 45mm compared to the Vitax 50mm.

The other tip is as shown above, if you have a slatted bench top its sometimes handy to have a solid surface and we found some offcuts of these sheets just the job, being plastic they are very cheap, easy to cut and rot proof.
Also handy if you want to resurface an old tatty bench.

Good idea @ricky101 a great tip, but that black proplex sheeting is good for winter protection of plants outside.
I used to be able to get hold of the white version, (lets light through it), when I was working as we used sheet and sheets of it.
Problem is its not uv stable and goes brittle very quickly.

Those sheets are a good idea for standing small pots on too, the spaces between shelf slats are sometimes wide and small pots can fall over.

I was thinking of small terracotta pots, it's the same thing though ...
