Hi everybody, I got my self a greenhouse 4 years back, a 6x8 simplicity. I've now reached the point where I think I should have got a bigger one.

Due to the layout of the garden installing a 2nd one isn't practical so am considering an extension but don't really know where to start any suggestions???? I would guess that extending the gable end is the way forward. Is it feasible to get extra frame struts and turn them into a giant mecarno set?

I would contact the manufacturer and order more parts. I converted one of mine from a twinwall over to polycarbonate and noticed that if you're willing to pay, they'll sell you whatever you need. You may have some issues dealing with fastening an extension to the rails running front to back.

Several manufacturers sell extension kits complete too :)

All you can do with your 8x6 is extend its length ... how much space do you have to play with ?

The GreenHouse People, Staffs make the Simplicity, so as Lori says, give them a ring and see if they offer an extension kit.
Cannot see it in their calalogue, but they might make one up for you.

Think its all down to what it costs ..?

It might be cheaper to buy , say a 6x4 complete and tack that on yourself.

Just an alternative idea, depending on your needs/asthetics, you could add a wooden shed onto the end of your Simplicity to give you more storage space for tools etc and if fitted with windows could offer some more growing space; same concept with a simple cheap small polytunnel ...?

I started with one greenhouse from the greenhouse people and just added another one onto the door end and filled the 2" gap with polycarbonate sheet,
