    Hello all! [​IMG]

    Just wanted to make a little post about one of my favourite places in London: the rose garden in Greenwich Park.

    Should you ever find yourself in the area, it is well worth a visit, if you are a rose fan.

    It's a lovely place HB, I discovered it by accident last summer, with a group of friends; we were on a pub crawl and our 'leader' had a brand new iPhone and was showing off it's sat nav capability to get us from pub to pub. We were miles off course and somehow found ourselves rambling through these gardens. I'ts a place I would definately visit again, maybe in a more planned way. BTW there is no pub nearby :lollol:

    Lovely HB. We have stayed in a hotel right next to Greenwich park several times now and have walked in the park but I have never seen the rose garden. I must look harder when we next go. :)

    The gardens are definitely worth a look. As are many of the pubs not *too* far away in either Blackheath or Greenwich itself :gnthb:
