    Hello all,

I am a complete beginner in the field of gardening. I am hoping to improve on the backgarden to start with. Will need lot of advice from accomplished gardeners here.

Hiya Nimit! I'm Liz in Bristol, beginner too, just trying my hand with an allotment as well as veggies in the back garden. Want to see if I can manage both, though the garden is suffering at the expense of allotment at the mo. This is a great place. :D

Thank you all for a warm welcome. We inherited a nice garden but sadly two years of neglect (on my part) have done lot of damage. But I am determined to bring it back to life this summer. So hoping for many more sunny weekends like last one.

Just got some large trees cut down to shape..
and now the garden is looking so bare!! and the fence behind that vegetation is rotten..
a bit of work has revealed much more work
    Things to do now:
    1. Mending the fence
    2. Building some steps on a sloping garden
    3. Building a shed (to free up the garage)
    4. And then finally getting hands dirty with soil..

Almost forgot got to go to the RHS show in cardiff this weekend..
