    Hi all,

I've just joined today. I own a house with a reasonable sized garden (probably about 1500 Sq feet), but I've never really done that much with it, except cut the grass.

I've decided to do something about that in 2008, so I'll be asking loads of really obvious newbie questions.

    Sorry bout that.

Hi ballinran, welcome to GC. Don't worry about obvious newbie questions. Some of us give really daft answers (especially when I mis-read the question). :D :D

Hi Ballinran welcome to the forum I'm sure you will 'find your feet' soon enough in your garden, out of one little seed grows big things...well it should do :D

I wish you all the best in 'doing' your garden for 2008 I only hope we all have much better weather than this last 'summer'. ;)

Show us some pictures of your plot (that's if you can) as most people on here are nosey souls just like me and like your know what you've got to work with.

    Than's for the welcome folks.

I've figured out how to post pics - I know it'll be helpful with the questions. And HOPEFULLY I'll have some to show off when things work out well....

The garden was wild;y overgrown when we moved her, and it took a while to get it under control - so far we've restricted the garden to simple low maintenance shrubs, but now we're looking for something more.
