Hello everyone! my name is Megan. I've been living at a rescue centre for a short while now so I thought it was time I got some human companionship. My first owner's sold me to buy street drugs and my second owner kept me in the kitchen night and day and never took me for a walk.

I chose Yvonne as she has a nice dry nose, shiny hair and a really posh kennel ! She's a little bit mad but I'm sure she will settle down once I take her on some lovely long walks :-)

Well done Megan sounds as if you've got a good deal there - 5* kennel included, can't be bad.
Lovely picture, looks as if she's already settled in Yvonne.

Thanks everyone, Megan is truly adorable, I can't believe how in love I am already, I've only had her 48 hours. She still has a couple of challenges to overcome, she was at the vets last night as it became quickly apparent that she has Kennel Cough. Also because she hasn't ever been walked, the pads of her paws are really soft. Fast forward to now, after 2 days of decent walks and she has developed raw patches on her back paws . Poor baby, she doesn't let it stop her though, she would run for hours if I let her!

I had forgotten what an honour it is to own a dog :doggieshmooze:

Well .... hell.ooooooo, Megan! I'm Ozzy, and Mum "rescued" me about 6 weeks ago and gave me my "forever home".

As you can see, she makes me smile.

That's a mighty fine coat you have there; curly wurly scrumptious! I'm on my 4th owner. My 1st was with my birth mummy; at 8 wks I was a Christmas "gift" to another lady; she bored of me after 6th months and then sent me to another home (I have no recollection of *them*) who sent me to a big kennel with lots of unhappy and pining pouches. I got a bout of KC when I was there, but I got over it.

Then, when Mum came ... I caught her eye, smiled, gave her a wink and she took me for a walk. I behaved very, very well (cos she looked sort of ok).

I adopted her and her family 6 weeks ago and I've not looked back. I get a huge garden to romp in; we go for walkies in the woods and I get lots of treats for doing just basic doggie stuff :heehee: (Don't tell her I told you that; it's my favourite game pretending I don't know this stuff already).

Just to letcha know, tell your Yvonne mummy that KC puts a little restriction on your Ins-UR-ance (for about 3 months from when it is cleared up); but you'll be ok. We rescue's are made of sterner stuff coz we is streetwise ;)

Come up and see me sometime, you sexy looking pouch you *wiggles eyebrows seductively* :doggiesmz:
