    hello there,

Only just signed up to this forum so let me introduce myself,
my name is alex and I live in the north east of scotland. I have never been much of a gardener, but since purchasing a new house last year with a big "high maintenance" garden I seem to be spending a lot of time outside (in between rain storms) and I'm starting to quite enjoy this gardening malarky.

My garden is a bit of a mixed bag. I have lots of plants, lots of trees, hedging and also a vegetable patch that I am in the process of planting potatoes in. I also have large areas of lawn.

I can see by looking through this forum that all these things seem to be touched on so I thought that this would be the forum for me.

anyway thats all I have to say just now so hope to talk with you guys soon

Hello Alex, welcome to the forum. Gardening is one of those things that there is never enough time for (because we spend to much time talking about it on here!) :)

[IMG]Acky I'm sure most of us will be quite jealous of your large plot but fear not even the old green eye of jealousy will not put us all off helping you out! Good luck with your new garden and remember Rome wasn't built in a day! ;)Hel.xxx.

    Hi Acky!

Welcome to the forum - lets see some photos of your great sounding plot!

Loads of potential there by the sound of things - you could make it somewhere really special over time!

    Enjoy yourself here.

    Kath
