I've stopped using Bonemeal as I think it interferes with the Mycorrhizal fungi, so Growmore or equivalent. I wouldn't bother with anything that has Nitrogen for the Beans thought, they'll make their own ... I use manure for them, something that hols the moisture. In olden times is was a trench, left open in Winter, and filled with any old stuff from Brassica Stalks to Paper - again to hold moisture, and probably to take advantage of the Nitrogen fixing bacteria symbiosis to rot it all down!

I normally give a dressing of fish blood and bone before planting.
I'd like manure but difficult to get hold of enough.
