Tis may be old idea to some but perhaps help to others, that is when you grow Cus or toms in bags one usually gave problem with the stakes, however if you cut bag in half stand them up on end and firm down the contents, then you can stake them when required, the plants l mean, [IMG] [IMG]

I use grobags in the greenhouse and staking the plants is not such a problem. I have run wires along the roof above the bags. Then I put canes into the bags, about one inch from the edge, and tie the top of the cane to the wire.

Of course, the canes are never the right height so they end up not being vertical - but this doesn't really matter as long as they are anchored at the top.

You can probably se they are at an angle in this picture.

Just in case you think there are weeds growing in between the paving in the greenhouse it is actually peppermint.

    Thanks guys :D

Actually, peppermint is great if you have crazy paving. Our patio is crazy, just like us, and where the peppermint grows in the cracks other things don't seem to grow there. The peppermint doesn't grow much more than a quarter of an inch high (a little bit more in the greenhouse) and seems quite happy with us walking all over it. If you rub your finger on it the mint smell is very strong.
