GS,we had them as a Prezzie so wouldn't ask,but it was a nice suprise...It was probably a Thankyou gift for not complaining when they had a Ferrari parked on their drive which was revving up in the early hours of the morning...

Kandyfloss, the icing on the cake is that spent mushroom compost is full of goodness.

Dig it into your veg plot / borders when finished with, and reap the rewards again later!

They sell them in a few places and are very cheap for what you get.
Great fun to do, even better to let the kids do it.

They are a bit long winded to grow, putting them in the airing cupboard for so many days and then bringing them back out again, doing the next part and then back in again, then keeping them somewhere cool, but in the end you have the results ready to eat...Let us know if you manage to get some.At least with my photos it shows that they do work...Good Luck [IMG]

I just put mine near a radiator for a while (I don't have an airing cupboard).
I watered them with luke warm water too. Don't know if that helped or not!
