I've been gathering and eating these for a couple weeks now and thought I'd try propagating them from the stones I've been saving and doing it like this How to Grow a Plum Tree from a Plum Pit

Last year I went to a local hedge where they grow to take some cuttings (having previously noted details of the which bushes to take them from for particular colours of plum) but the hedge cutter had beaten me to it, so I'll try some earlier this year in case it happens again.
