    Hi everyone,
I'd like to grow collard greens but can't find the seeds on sale in the UK wonder if anyone knows where they can be sourced? Secondly, if I can't get hold of them is there anything else like them - I grow kale, perpetual spinach and chard but want something more like the mountain greens you get served in Crete and collard greens are the closest thing I've tasted.
    Many thanks
    Jen

Don't know if they sell them, but I have just spent two hours on Thompson and Morgan, and Jungle Seeds. Spent a fortune.

Hah, introducing my to Jungle Seeds was naughty :snork: they have some very interesting seeds easy to spend a fortune. Neither have collard greens though so still on the lookout.

Nickys Nursery http://www.nickys-nursery.co.uk/gar...dQmhqYJkF5cs2pqp5tGDVis4H7PnK9s-TYRoC9EDw_wcB (+ checkout ebay), I'm sure this question has been asked on here before, but might have been somewhere else.-

EDIT: I missed the Premier Seeds listing on Amazon, because I searched for Premier Seeds Collards on ebay, which didn't produce any results but may be cheaper - their ebay shop search seems a bit of a shambles at the moment.

Sorted now - largish order to Wallis as they had quite a few seeds that I wanted including Joe Eye Weed for my wildflower circle. Thanks everyone.

Try Moreveg, I've grown their collards and they were very good. They used to do a collard collection. I grow an old fashioned green called 'Mercury' which is a hardy perennial, very iron-y, rich growth at this time of year. Very good to grow in poor parts of the garden, shady spots, etc.

Ariadae - thanks another new site for me...they have six varieties to choose from! I've got lots of shady spots so going to try these around the place as I'm looking to grow a lot more edibles in with the ornamentals.
