It hasn't been a good end or start of the year(s), Lost my sister just before Christmas and have just lost our eldest dog Crystal, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I'll plant out what I've got to date when the weather improves but beyond that, I just don't know!

It seems that tears are salty, shedding loads of those, so not best suited to veggie sowing/growing.

I'm on a downer at the moment, hopefully my mood will pick up if the weather does.

BUT! I still hope to grow giant Onions and Tomatoes!

Sorry to hear your terrible news Vince - no wonder you are on a downer. Hopefully the weather will come good soon, and stay good for you.

      You are never too old!

You are (rightly, and understandably) not feeling your usual optimism at the moment, and I have a feeling that Carol might be right - - once you get well into the growing season, and see all your plants coming on, and have a few evenings wandering around watering, you will be surprised how much better you feel.

I know I'm being a pain in the harris but my family and furry family are all I have in the world.

Arwen's doing her best to console me and doing a pretty good job of it! If I lost her, that would be curtains for me, fortunately, no chance of that yet :dancy:

Thankyou all for your messages of support, falling on deaf ears at the moment but I appreciate the sentiment and given a time of mourning, I may act upon your advice.

For now though, I'm gonna log off and cuddle up with Arwen and her mum Shadow, my guardian furry angels!
